In 2009 I have configured Blogger to send my posts via FTP to my hosting domain. After a few months, they switched this functionality off and left me free to choose from the various blogging systems out there to install and do what I want. After extensive search I have decided to use a wiki instead.
Perfect choice for me!
Happily using MediaWiki now.
