Holiday Tips

Liverpool isn't all about The Beatles. It is indeed the best location in the world to see what this band was all about: take picture in places where they lived and played, and.. well, that is it! Apart from that I'm sure you will enjoy a beautiful city with a lively town centre that offer millions of shopping places surrounded by an architecture that is more like an art installation than anything else. Certainly worth going.

I'm not the biggest Beatle fan, to be honest I don't even think they played that well. The songs were schizophrenic with miss-matched "ups and downs" and the lyrics were out of place and were all about fields, streets and barber-shops around their own houses. I don't quite like them but I "Abbey Road" was the best album and has immortal songs that I never get tired of listening to. "Yellow Submarine", "Let It Be", "Hey Jude", "Yesterday" are all crap. This sing like girls, play like monkeys and pose like models.. but George Harrison and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" made this band what they are today and it is a shame they didn't carry on this path for longer.

Accommodation

The further away from downtown the cheapest, and that might make a big difference.
