One of the best days of the year... Amazing experience for me as well. :) The best moment was when you arrived. I hope I will be able to jump next time or at some time before my 80's. Love. T.

18 April 2010 - Parachute Jump
Bruno is an experienced parachuter who loves to see the sacred faces of new-comers to this sport. I must confess: I think my face expression was quiet funny...
You are perfectly safe when double-jumping (when you hire someone to pull the parachute for you) but your whole body shakes and sweats all the time, living not a hintch of bravery available for you to pull yourself together while being filmed. Bruno, as good friend, offered to record this experience for his own delight; I thought he was being nice but actually he wanted to have a laugh.
I loved the experience! My wife took some fabulous pictures and managed to keep herself calm and thanks to Adriane, Bruno's wife, an experienced parachuter's wife, she managed to stay out of a nervous crisis.
I was scared to death and I cried once back on the floor - silly but there was nothing I could do! I consider myself more of a "parashitter" than a parachuter and the memories of such strong emotions made me feel alive and a bit selfish in a way: I want to enjoy life more than any other time in the past. It must be the after shock affect but it feels good and real nonetheless.
I might do it again in a few years time. It is exhausting but I totally recommend it. Thanks Bruno for encouraging me to do it.
