With hydroponics, why can't we find building cultivating food inside big cities like London, Mexico City, Sao Paulo or New York?

Bingo: Vertical farming in the big Apple - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/6752795.stm Looks like there are people doing that after all! It is just a project but a serious one in my opinion.
